Is that the optional emergency brake in the '56 Belvedere?

Interesting! A three-speed manual with aftermarket Air Conditioning.  No heater, no power steering, no power brakes.  Ad says an "interesting driving experience"

This is "Cars Remember When" at 4505 S. Santa Fe Dr.  I've stopped by many times, but it must be by appointment only.  The showroom seems like it is never just open to browse.

Loving the attention to detail (well except the wrong fabric on the seats) and the wheels.

There are some great under carriage photos for future reference if you are so inclined (I saved a bunch).

Almost forgot that 56 Fury's got the same 6 leaf rear springs as the early 56 Dodge D500s.

Yeah, Dave.  Everything is so clean and neat! It looks like a really cool Fury.  I do wonder about the drivability.  I seem to recollect that a person could not order air conditioning with a manual transmission in those days, automatic required.
