Hello all. New to this so hopefully this works.
I’m I’m following correctly I have a 1956 dodge custom royal
315 as the engine is stamped D63-3 and so on
It should have been sapphire white and gold (paint prior to me purchasing)
Trying to figure out the carburetor.
It’s stamped ww and thats it….
Any other information would be helpful. Spread some of your knowledge

Jose: Hope you don't mind me moving your post over the Members Rides section (where it belongs )

Your car is a 1956 Golden Lancer built on or about July 9th, 1956 in Detroit (your VIN starts with 35 = Detroit, 42 = Los Angeles) . We can see that it is a based on a Custom Royal 2dr hardtop (Lancer) because of the 835 body code. The 077 paint code is indeed the sapphire white an gold combo that signifies the Golden Lancer option. The 542 trim code seems wrong (542 is a Custom Royal 4 door sedan code). I would have guess that your code would be 545 like this:

As for the "WW", it will be a 2 bbl Stromberg. But there should be more numbers, like WW3-140, or 3-128, 3-134, A, B, 3-141, 3-145, etc ???

Thank you for that. Interesting that the trim code would be wrong. I might have to clean it up and check those numbers. The car was painted both inside and out during the 80s (previous owner mentioned) and I did notice overspray on the dash and doors.

As far as the carb. The numbers were shaved off. I have heard it was common practice for some shops to do this after a rebuild…again can’t verify this. A much older and wiser gentleman who owns a shop (dans automotive) had told me a story and had mentioned that…
