| I think this was built December 1965.
What I need to know is this a unit that has BOTH the front and rear pump or is it the "new" units rolled out sometime in 1965 with the rear pump deleted.
I have a 1964 300K that I need to rebuild a trans for. I know the valve bodies are not the same if this is a push button unit.
Being away from my SF residence I do not have my reference books. This trans is close by and for sale.
Any help would be appreciated.

Location: So. Cal | December '65 would be for the '66 model year. Is it a cable shifted transmission? It doesn't sound like it. I think the '65 model year saw the last of them. |

| I would also think so, but the 10,000 day calendar come up Dec 1965...
Unless I am reading the 10,000 day calendar wrong. That is why I am asking for help to ID this trans before I buy it.
Thanks, James |

| I found a 1965 Master Parts Book and it shows this for several cars in 1965 both Plymouth Dodge and Chrysler but only up to Serial Number 1589110 then they have another trans part number.
So, I am assuming this is the last of the flanged, two pump design.
Thanks, all. James |

I don't know anything but I know how to search for information.
Based on the 65 Mopar Parts book, the 2466 112 is an "A727B" aluminum case Torqueflite.
Apparently the "B" meant that it was for the "big block" engines whereas the A727A was for the small block (LA series) engines.
Hope that helps a little bit.
