Exner Expert 10K+ Posts: 10166 Location: Lower Mainland BC | . The wire ones below. I have bigger ones and smaller ones that I bought years ago. Now I need some medium-sized ones but I can't find a source. I checked the Auveco catalog but no luck (maybe I missed them??) Anybody?

Exner Expert 10K+ Posts: 10166 Location: Lower Mainland BC | 60 dart - 2022-10-06 2:28 PM what does the inside of your trim measure?? It seems to be 1.5". The clip that was in there (passenger side - I've now opened that can of worms) is about 1 3/8" and it is too small (falls out of the trim). Extreme Veteran Posts: 586 | https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P7BBXVF/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?psc=1&pd_r... I've used plastic button retainers when needed for trim. Match the hole size, trim the diameter flat top and bottom to fit can't tell the difference when installed. On the convex button heads I've sanded down the convex part to slide down the trim part. Bought some Auveco 15456 GM Hood Insulation retainers to try. 1 21/32"head diameter. Will require some minor trimming to fit the grooves of the lower C-pillar trim.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 586 | I would buy them large enough so when you trim them to fit your not just holding them on by just the radius but by a straight portion top and bottom.

Agree. 1 21/32 = 1.656 and the groove is about 1.5" max so my game plan is to figure out what needs to be straight cut off two edges that will a) allow the thing to fit into the stainless grooves and b) "center" the trim piece properly. Probably means the first attempt will be wrong but the second attempt (after rotating the retainer 90 degs) will be closer.
