After adjusting the throttle linkage several times per the FSM, something still isn't right. I can get a 3-1 kickdown on full throttle at 35mph, but I cannot get a 3-2 kickdown at all. I have checked to make sure the linkage isn't binding, and accel pedal is set a 115 degrees per spec. Any thoughts as to what I should check next? Trans shifts well, minimum throttle shifts are 13mph(1-2) and 20mph(2-3).

Thanks for your help!

When you say no 3-2 kickdown "at all" do you mean at 35 mph? Have you tried at a higher speed, say 45 mph?

Have you tried upping the shift points on the throttle linkage, just for test purposes?

Have somebody sit in the car and hold the throttle to the floor, with the throttle floored make sure the transmission lever is all the way back...remove the rod if necessary and see if there is additional travel in the lever.

Hi fellows, I can’t add much as I cannot remember all of the adjustments but if you have not already watched the Chrysler master tech 1957 torqueflite 10-5 YouTube video it may help you.
