I thought that I would post this in case somebody is looking for a replacement band for the external Standard Transmission emergency/park brake. I had a 55 Dodge (Canadian Plodge with standard transmission from 1967 to 1972 and never had an issue with the eBrake that I can remember. Even did my drivers test with a stop on a hill and had to hold the car with the eBrake, etc. I passed first try).

The replacement bands are out there. Hiltop had some (one?) for $175 but they are out of stock. MoparMall says they have one for about $90 (with core exchange). Andy Bernbaum says $65. He also has just the lining for about $40.
