Somebody was looking for guidance on checking fluid levels in their 1958 A-466 Torqueflite transmission.

Not sure, whether the February 22, 1956 Factory Service Bulletin No. 953-CH, applies to 1958 but I am guessing it still does.

I have always wondered at what point the TorqueFlite took over for the PowerFlite in the '56 Imperial production and here it is! The first Chrysler product with a TorqueFlite transmission was 1956 Imperial serial number C56-6701.

BUT 6701 was actually only the break point for 100% of the 56 Imperials to get the new Torqueflite. There were several more before 6701, as I have posted before:
