Has anyone replaced the generator on a 1956 354 ci engine? On a car with power steering? If so, what was your solution to the PS being driven by the generator? Thanks for any help/leads/hints. George 1956 Imperial C73

Hot Heads has brackets for Alt. & P.S., though they might be GM. I used one of the alt. brackets to mount an alt. on a 331 in the stock location but the car was hoodless so clearance wasn't a problem for me.

Used the HH bracket, with some tinkering, a Mopar Alt. & (probably) a GM belt bracket. On the 331 in my '60 I used a fabricated set up on the passenger side.
