Subject: Rear Hub Puzzle

Just pulled rear drums and separated the hubs on my '61 Fury. One hub is double the thickness of the other. The thicker "left" one wasn't swedged to the drum. The thinner "right" one was. I'm wondering if the thicker Hub is a custom deal or off another model.
Obviously somebody was in here way before me. I'm trying to figure out what happened.
If you look closely you can see my stud extraction technique has damaged the thinner hub, so I'm hoping to find another one of those.
By the way I'm mid- AAJ disc brake conversion.
