I am guessing the reserve is $100K on that basis.

Nice car but I had to laugh. They say "727 Torqueflite" when I can see from the transmission pan shape that is is clearly the cast iron A-433 that is correct for the car.

What else did they get wrong in the description?

The interior doesn't look to be done in leather, nor the correct beige color. Looks like cheap vinyl, and the seams between the bolsters aren't "pulled in".

THIS top photo is what it should look like, done correctly with correct material and color.

The bottom photo is what has been done - not correct.

I happened to be in the area and looked this car over. It’s a fairly solid car, but pitting on every piece of pot metal and chrome. That interior looks ok, but obviously not totally correct. For their asking price a buyer could find a far better 300C, I sold a Gaugin Red 300C that was way nicer than this one for $65k just a handful of years ago.

I agree, $65K is kindof the long-standing going rate for FULLY restored 300C-E coupes.

At least on my compute monitor, that is NOWHERE close to Gauguin red and to me has that typical gluggy 2-pak look, interior looks pale/anemic....maybe it is my my monitor or my old eyes?
