I have two types of fuel tanks and I'm not sure where they came from. I'm sure that the silver painted one I purchased from Vans as a '57-'59 Chrysler replacement, but I don't know what the other type is from. The Van's tank has a large groove in it for the large o-ring to seat into, but the other one doesn't. The Vans tank also has indents that go lengthwise along the top of it, whereas the other one has them going lengthwise, but also has a transverse indent in the top of it too.
