I have an automatic tranny that was on a 325 dodge that I recently purchased at an auction. The engine and tranny was on a run stand and the prior owner was working to put in a vehicle. I can send a picture if you send an email/ open to offers. The tranny is near Cresco, IA (northeast corner or Iowa around 7 miles from the Minnesota border).

It might help if you identified the transmission as being a Powerflite or a Torqueflite. If you can't, post some photos and I'm sure that forum members (including me) will be able to figure it out.

OK - so I have gotten conflicting info. Can the group help me answer is this a Powerflite or a Torqueflite?

What you have there is a Powerflite.

Here is what a cast iron Torqueflite looks like (below). The main case is much longer, the shifter cable attachment housing is different and the neutral safety switch is at the back of the shifter area, not on the side.
