Anyone interested in a virtual car show for November?  Post a few images of your car.  At the end of the month, I can create a poll for Best Plymouth, Best Dodge, Best De Soto, Best Chrysler, Best Imperial, and Best Other.

I like your idea of a virtual show, but I have very little to no interest in any contest. Sorry, contests just seem lame to me. But something I would enjoy is to set up a zoom call that we can enter and do a virtual garage tour around the world if people are willing to do something like that. I think it could be fun and we could get to know people here (all over the world) better. Setting up a time that is reasonable for both Europe, the US and Australia is almost impossible, but maybe we could alternate one in the early morning US time and one in the evening. What do you think? I have a multiple zoom account that I could use to set it up.

P.S. It looks like Senor Hernando got the boot off your hood. Decided to swap him out?

I'm very willing to skip the poll at the end - they are all favorites after all! love the idea of the zoom meet!

Yep, I was washing it a few weeks ago and switched over to the jet.

Okay, sounds fun. I really like this idea of a zoom call.

Please don't add me to any poll though, I just like the idea of folks posting up their cool old cars. Here's my '57 Chrysler.

I believe I am the only one on this forum that owns one of these cars. It's a shame really, because these early Lancers are really neat and there's something really fun about driving around a compact car. I think Tom knows what I am talking about.

Those are great pictures Ralf! Can you tell me how you did the rear power antennas? I am working on something for that as well.

Here is a picture to support the white cars matter movement.

First I bought two "finest chinese" cheepo power antennae

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Auto-Car-Power-Electric-Aerial-Automatic-An...

Then a friend with turning machines made the base out of aluminium rod and polished it.
I made the base fit on the fin with an angle grinder , a mill would be better of course.
It takes some trying before it sits on the fin so to practise on a wooden broom stick would be wise.
The antennas actually still work! And they go all the way down so they aren`t easy to bend..
