Hi Guys,
I'm almost finished restoring my 58 Belvedere 4 door sedan. I have the spare, jack base, and iron in place but I can't figure how the jack shaft is securely stored. Send me your thought or images,

I assumed the that spare was supposed to lie flat on the floor. Your pics did the trick.
