Hi everyone greetings from rainy England.
I'm hoping some folks here can help me. I'm restoring a 59 Facel Vega which used a 383 cu in Mopar. Car came in lots of boxes and we seem to be missing the metal cup style motor mount holder that attaches to the side of engine. There are frame mounts already attached to chassis and we have the rubber insulator with the stud but nothing to attach that to thee engine. As it's not a consumable part and Mopar's here in UK are mostly 66 and up, we've hit a brick wall.

Could anyone point us in right direction of companies that could help with this in US? Most of stores seem to be 66 and up.
I did notice in a post here someone talk about "BigM" - is that Big M Automotive salvage in Willaims CA?

Also the care has an early trans, a cast iron A488 I'm told, again anyone guide us to where we could look, I did talk to N West Trans and on phone they were helpful but then requests via email detailing what we need went unanswered. It the trans which uses the squarish (not in line) push buttons on dash via cable
We need
Dipstick plus filler tube
Speedo Drive
Kick down lever
Shifter cable

Any help much appreciated - even if its telling me that the parts we're looking for are correct. The motor has 3 x lugs on side and a slot in frame for stud. The rubber insulator looks like 2/3 size of a can of coke.
And in case anyone wants to know what the car here here is a picture of what I hope it'll look like. I did find. picture of what I think the motor mounts cup style are which is also attached.

If needs be I can get parts onward shipped to me via a buddy in US if folks don't ship international

cheers

Sorry guys, I didn't realise there was size limit and can't post pictures just yet!
The cup style 383 Motor mounts are shown in a. thread here "440 change over from 318" from way back (2009)

What do you mean by speedo drive? The gear is really hard to get, but you should be able to source the cable locally from any speedo repair shop.
Definitely send John Fowlie at BigM a message. He is on Facebook and on this board. He should be able to help you out with most of what you need. The motor mounts are a high demand item due to being for big block applications. You may be able to modify mounts for a 318 to make them work for you.

I've had good luck with Fatsco Transmission for old TorqueFlite parts, give them a try.

Ok not sure why they loaded nice but hey! So, update from Uk.
Spoke to Don at Fatsco, really helpful.
Have sent him details of the trans and he's asked if I can supply him with a photo of a kick down lever or the speedo bullet (learnt that's what I was calling the speedo drive!)

Would anyone have that fro a A488 Cast Irion Torqueflite (59)?

cheers.

Below is a link to mopar parts catalogs by year, download 1959. There are diagrams with part numbers, that should help you out in your search with Fatsco.
