Hey Fellow Forward Lookers,
i have an interior question. I am in the process of installing new headliner and windlace...i have new material from SMS, but im kinda stuck as to what goes where 1st...i have all the old out and in the process of putting long sheetmetal piece with the long row of teeth on the inside in...it appears the headliner material comes down around this piece and hooks inside on the teeth...I'm assuming the long bar with the teeth has to be in place 1st. it has cutouts to get to windlace clips but i think the windlace has to go on 1st, then the bar with teeth, then headliner...any help and or tips would be appreciated...my 1st journey into a headliner install. thanks billy

57 Chrysler headliner installation is covered in the Factory Service Manual (FSM) starting on page 388 in the hard copy or 390 of 458 in the pdf FSM available for download at MyMopar.com:
http://www.mymopar.com/index.php?pid=109
Download. Open. Save in a folder that you can find again. Use.

Dave, i was hoping to get some tips from folks who have done it. also hoping to confirm the windlace goes on 1st and how folks were able to tuck the material up and around the sheetmetal part with the teeth...I also need to reattach that sheetmetal piece to both sides above the doors and have to find clips that work. I've read the manual several times but with the headliner i feel i have 1 chance at it...billy
