Subject: interior roof rail garnish molding removal ? 59 dodge 4drht

installing a new cardboard headliner in my 59 dodge cr 4 drht .  question  for you guys  is  how do I remove the painted metal  garnish molding just above the side glass / top roof rail?  I searched my 58 and 59 services manuals with NO luck how to remove them .

     If I remember correctly from 30 years ago  moldings  just snap on  with no attaching screws... is that correct ?  can someone varify that ?

No, they are screwed on. You access the screws inside the rubber weatherstripping.
