Thanks The stock wheel offset information was probably never published. Because my 56 Dodge D500 has 12 x 2.5" Windsor brakes, I am pretty sure that I have 56 Windsor 5.5 x 15 wheels on a 5 x 4.5" bolt circle. I have my 56 Dodge D500 wheels stored under the back house deck. So I can pull one out and measure it later today. These ones (showing their original white paint colouring): They are 5.5" across the bead which makes sense for a 56 D63 Dodge with 12" (Windsor) brakes according to the parts manual. This further implies that the original tires would have been 7.60 x 15. I think when I got the car the tires were H78 or G78 with the spare being an L78. L78 translates to 235/75/15 which is what I am running now.

Thanks for the info and measuring them. If you haven't already purchased your disc brake "kit", I suggest that you contact Roger at AAJ Brakes in the Portland area. I think that he has an 11" rotor "kit" that uses the stock wheel. Here are the dimensions of the 56 D500/Windsor wheel that I just measured: Outer lip to outer lip = 6.5" Bead to Bead = 5.5" Mounting surface to outer lip - front side = 2.75" Mounting surface to outer lip - back side = 3.75" See below: (56DodgeD500slashWindsorWheels_OuterLipToOuterLip.jpg) (56DodgeD500slashWindsorWheels_BeadToBead.jpg) (56DodgeD500slashWindsorWheels_MountingFaceToOuterLip_Frontside.jpg) (56DodgeD500slashWindsorWheels_MountingFaceToOuterLip_Backside.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 56DodgeD500slashWindsorWheels_OuterLipToOuterLip.jpg (195KB - 246 downloads) 56DodgeD500slashWindsorWheels_BeadToBead.jpg (194KB - 241 downloads) 56DodgeD500slashWindsorWheels_MountingFaceToOuterLip_Frontside.jpg (159KB - 246 downloads) 56DodgeD500slashWindsorWheels_MountingFaceToOuterLip_Backside.jpg (156KB - 224 downloads)
