This item had me baffled, so I searched up the purpose and found it. Just put it here for fun. I recon these would be dangerous, and could cause a broken coil spring. Has anyone seen or used something like this? Steve

I’ve used them many years ago with some success. They did lift the car and did not damage the springs. However they slid around within the coils causing them to not be 180 degrees apart like they’re supposed to be. I never tried to remedy this issue by using hose clamps or the like to hold them from sliding.

I never could get those to help on any of the cars I owned. I tried gluing them, taping them, hose clamping them...no matter what I did, they seemed to have no effect on the torsion bars. Nor did they have any effect on the leafs when I applied them to the rear of the car. I figured the miracle they offered was to lighten the wallet. I once hear a guy say they work on Chevy's but same as feminine product discussions, I listened no further.
