Selling due to acquisition of a 1960 Plymouth station wagon.

Engine is a newer "peanut" head slant six, late 1970s to early 1980s vintage (still has mechanical lifters). Car starts easily and runs pretty good, carb has been cleaned but could use a rebuild. Distributor has been converted to electronic ignition using a Pertronix kit, new plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor as well. Alternator has been updated to a Mopar square-back unit with electronic voltage regulator. Battery charges, voltage is about 14.5 at idle. Good used gas tank and straps installed, new rubber fuel lines, pump and filter. New starter from a 1990s Dodge Magnum V8.

Just completed an overhaul of the brake system. New Mopar aluminum dual reservoir master cylinder, front disc conversion from AAJ brakes, new rear wheel cylinders, all new rubber lines and replaced one section of hard line in the rear. Pedal is firm and high. New wheel bearings, grease and seals up front with the new disc brakes. Rear drums are in good shape with about 50% shoe left.

Three speed manual trans shift on the column. All gears engage, clutch seems to work ok but I haven't had it on the road.

The floors are shot in this car, but trunk floor seems solid. Rear quarters need significant work, but front fenders, hood, doors, trunk lid and rockers are pretty solid from what I can tell so far. Car came from Arkansas, not originally a WI car. The heater core leaks, so I have bypassed it for now. Engine also leaks oil, not sure from where yet. Interior is pretty rough, but all there. One of the rear leaf springs in broken, but I have a good set of springs in the trunk that are included. Good set of chrome tail lights also included, along with a set of original 14 inch wheels. Car is complete, not aware of anything missing. Front seat is out of the car right now, but I do have it and can pop it back in.

Price is $2500 OBO, I have a clear WI title in my name. Car is stored at my friends house in Mukwonago, WI. I hope to take more pictures ASAP. If I can't get enough out of this car, I will most likely part it out and keep what I could use for my 1960 Plymouths and sell what's left. Link to all details of work I have done on this car so far below:

After talking with my dad and experiencing all the work and exhaustion of getting the wagon on the road, we have reconsidered and decided to sell this car after all. I don't think I have the time or energy to part it out and my dad has decided he'd rather not get into another project, so I'll lower my price to $2000. This car does need some work to be road worthy, but I think you could get it on the road fairly quickly and start enjoying it in the spring. Here are some additional details of repairs and modifications I've done:

Front Brakes:
AAJ Front disc conversion
Dual reservoir master cylinder
Master cylinder adapter plate
Front rotors, calipers, rubber lines and pads
Front wheel bearings and seals
$540.63

Rear Brakes:
residual valve
wheel cylinders
rubber line and some hard line
$59.16

Electrical:
Starter
Mopar Square back alternator
Electronic voltage regulator
Pertronix electronic ignition kit
Coil
Distributor cap, rotor, plugs and wires
$354.73

Fuel System
Good used tank
Fuel pump, rubber lines
$116.26

Over $1,000 in documented repairs since I took ownership. Also included are a good set of rear leaf springs (which the car needs) and chrome Fury tail light housings. I just started and ran this car about a week or two ago, started right up. It does run, drive and stop but I would still recommend it be trailered (tail lights are wired up to a brake light switch, tires are bad, seat needs restoration and so on). I have records and part numbers for all work done in a small, organized notebook so the next owner will always know what parts are not original. $2000 OBO.
