"Up for sale out of an estate is a 1957 Plymouth convertible that was featured in the movie IN COLD BLOOD. The movie company put the 392 Hemi engine in it."

Apparently true (the 1996 version (my car was supposedly in it too but I can find no proof of that ):

https://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_43415-Plymouth-Belvedere-1957.html

"I knew the owner who sold this car to the movie company. The car was originally red and white. It has a 392 hemi in it. I knew this car well. Cars from Calgary Alberta Canada. 15k it was bought for. For the movie they made it look all dirty, even the white walls. When I seen this car as a teenager it was cherry. It turned heads everywhere."

Says the continental kit is easily removed at least. Pretty nice looking convertible otherwise.

"Movie company put a 392 in it"

Yeah, right. First time I've heard that one.
