Sounds bogus to me.....says he's looking for a prewar big engine convertible???? He says it's not big enough......what does he want, an aircraft carrier?

Yeah, and never explains what condition of car he wants to trade for, or an estimated value of the dodge. Agreed on the lunacy that a 1960 Dodge Polara is "too small"... smh

Not seeing it, sorry. Realistically, the car should be worth $20-25k in it's current condition, assuming the rust bubbles aren't indicative of further problems. I doubt he's going to pick up a similar condition Duesenberg or Stutz for that money...

Was this seat design for real? Driver's much fancier than the passenger? In any event, quite beautiful.

Assymmetry thoughts and trial attempts and some application were going around Detroit styling studios around this time. Particular case in point would be Virgil Exner's XNR sports car. So why not the seats as a small taste?

Dave, yes the seat design is stock. The cloth on this particular car is incorrect though.

Check out the front seats for my 61 NYer. The driver side is not only taller but the back is not pleated like the lower cushion and both of the passenger cushions. This is supposed to be more comfortable for the driver.
