Due to recent health issues including two stays in the hospital, I find it necessary to sell one of my prize possessions. It is my 1962 Plymouth Belvedere two door sedan 413 Super Stock. I will entertain offers in the upper $40K's and will gladly answer questions by phone 816-590-3685 or PM.

Main details: The car is just about like it would have come off the assembly line. The engine block is date coded 413 HP 5-6-62 but is not the original block - the heads, intake, and exhaust system are. The car was sold and shipped to Gallo Brothers (the wine guys) Chrysler-Plymouth in California April 1962. The car has not been restored but was freshened with new paint and some drive train upgrades in 2004 and just over 6000 miles is on the car since. I have the records. All specs match and I have a copy of the punch card from Chrysler Historical Services. No radio, no power steering or brakes, but it does have a heater. The color is Sandstone beige with plum and lavender cloth interior. I probably have over 100 pictures that show pretty much everything one would want but am willing to take specific pictures if interested. Here are a few to get started. Thank you for your interest and consideration.

Beautiful! Take care of yourself, will ya? Way more important than cars.

I hope the one I have will someday look as nice as that.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Am on six medications now with a followup doctor visit in December. I'm feeling OK with mostly "old age" discomforts and weaknesses but other than that, pretty normal. The blood sugar and high blood pressure are showing signs of improvement.

No inquiries on the car yet but keeping my fingers crossed that the right buyer is out there.

Hello fellow FLers. Renewed interest in selling my Super Stock. Not so much health issues this time but just the need to trim the herd . I value my DeSoto more and it is much easier to drive and less expensive to operate. My cars are not trailer queens so they do get driven on nice dry days.

This '62 Plymouth is probably as nice of a '62 Super Stock 413 Max Wedge as there is in existence anywhere in the world that is actually driven. I have it listed on eBay with a BIN of $40K and open to realistic offers. If anyone knows of a potential buyer for this automobile, I'd be pleased to discuss it with them. I have gobs of pictures so if there is a particular one needed, I'll be glad to send. In addition I have all the documentation and the info from the Chrysler Historical Service. All books and manuals are with the car.

Please feel free to PM me or call/text 816-590-3685

You should list it over on the forBbodiesonly website as well.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Though I personally don't do facebook, my son does and maybe he'll help me there. And I'm not familiar with with forBbodiesonly so I'll check that out. I'v gotten quite a bit of response from eBay so maybe things will work out. I'm sure a lot of the response is from those trying to get information and not serious buyers - you know how that goes.

Thanks again, Fred

The car is going to a buyer in Switzerland and definitely will be missed. I still have my DeSoto to enjoy and plan to hang onto it for awhile longer. Thank you all for your support/suggestions and positive comments - greatly appreciated.
