I was driving in to work this week and saw this 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury coupe parked on Rio Grande Avenue.  It is fun to see a Forward Look car parked on the street - kind of unusual now too!  I definitely remember when they were more plentiful.

This one is gone.  I haven't seen it for a few weeks.  The last time I saw it, it was driving west on Berry Avenue right in front of Littleton city center.

It strikes me that this might be a rarely used thread.  Who sees FLs on the street anymore?

People who live in my town, that's one.

Love that Littleton car! At 70 I'm not sure I'll have any more FL cars (still have a '69 Cutlass) but that one would sorely tempt me!

Mike as you know our daughter lives in Lakewood, and now it looks like our son and D-I-L may be moving there later this year as she's in final talks with Jeff Co. to begin a job in Forensics (she's a Latent Print specialist in Syracuse, and from Nebraska originally), and he's interviewing as an archeologist with FEMA. So, if 2 of our 3 (one is still in VT) will be living there we may be spending a lot more time in Denver, maybe even living there part of the year, so hope we can connect one of these times... btw I went with my S-I-L to the Forney on our last visit - boy that is a great place!

Hi, Roger - I was shocked when I saw it.  I've nearly forgotten what it was like when these were - I won't say common - but at least around locally.  I feel like I won the lottery when I see one now!

I hope you are happy and well.  Let me know next time you are in town.  Yes, the Forney is pretty awesome!  Christoph was the curator - I hope he still is - a great guy and a ForwardLook fan too.  Now you need to see the Clive Cussler collection.  It will blow your doors off!

Thanks Mike! We're doing ok. I'll be sure to check out the Cussler sometime. I'd love another crack at FL ownership, especially the original car that started it for me, my Grampy's '57 Dodge Coronet. I'd be sorely tempted if I ever came across the right one (4 dr hardtop), but my better half would probably be a bit less than enthusiastic at any more cars. We're going to be out in Lakewood for a month, Nov 17 to Dec 16, so will try to see if we can do a meet up!
