My 63 Imperial with rebuilt front and rear suspension components has a nasty squeak coming from the rear leaf spring bushings. I used Moog bushings. What can I do to eliminate the squeaks? Thanks

Are you referring to the pressed-in front bushings or the rear bushings? If rear, remove them and spray them with silicone spray.

Did you wait until the weight of the car was on the bushings before tightening the bolts/nuts?

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I'm referring to the shackle bushings. I did wait until the weight was on the suspension before tightening. I'll try the silicone spray and loosening and retightening everything. Thanks.

dont spray it with wd40... bad idea.

if you want to do it for real use silicone grease with PTFE...

I found the problem. I found a torn shackle bushing. Thanks again.
