No, I haven't converted the Blue Heron to electric. I got a new car. I am posting here because I am hoping someone can answer some question.

One night I realized I am over my head trying to get the Blue Heron into the condition I wanted. The next day I did a search to see if there was another car within my budget that I would be easier for me to fix and be happy. I didn't expect to find a 55 Chrysler spring edition, but did. I am now the owner of a Green Falcon with A/C, electric windows, and electric seats.

First, is anyone familiar with the A/C? I would like a picture of the inside of the trunk unit. I cleaned the very old filters, but one bumps into some plumbing. The fan has been replaced and I think that is too small.

Does anyone recognize the floor mats in the picture? They have almost no wear, and I am wondering if they could be original.

Has anyone successfully order a copy of the original build card recently? If so, who do I contact?

Thanks. This helps. In side the evaporator the fan motor and wheel is wrong, and I'm missing one of the housing units along with the wheel.

The search starts!

Very nice car, congratulations!

The green floor mats are likely repopped ones as I have the same type for 60-62

I like Medford. Weather is good, we have a good view, and we get a lot of birds.

As with any move, there are things I miss, including a Forward Look community.

Do you now have both the Blue Heron and the Green Falcon?

Oh, and you are now in the Pacific Northwest region (as far as this website's forums go), which the region that doesn't suck!

Medford is wonderful, if you like high desert and being a long way from a big city.
I love it there. But it IS remote ! You are surrounded by hundreds of miles in any
direction with wilderness beauty, the weather is terrific, and did I mention remote ?
Lots of ranches and back country. Lots of places to explore and find old cars and
other old cool stuff. The ocean, mountains, the redwoods, 100's of gold rush ghost
towns. I think they even have internet there !
