Pic resize

FAIL.

1. Way TOO SMALL 1024 x 768 is good or 800 x 600 but not smaller.

2. WRONG format, i.e. jpeg is unacceptable to the system. Needs .jpg

Both resizing and reformatting (followed by a save) and then uploading can be accomplished with Irfanview (free)

https://www.irfanview.com/

Download and use

You might want to read through this thread about how to post photos too:

The reason only 10% of the post viewers are clicking on your photos is probably that is one extra step and many people will figure if you can't bother to fix your photo posting issues, why should they bother to click on your .jpeg photo? *PLUS* they may not have a program that will open the .jpeg photo up anyway. I typically click on your .jpeg photos and when I do that, I get a pop-up window that asks whether I want to open it with Irfanview (or something else of my choice). I say yes to Irfanview and your photo appears on the screen. But it is a pain in the derriere.

There is no way around the 250 kB thing. That is out of our control. *HOWEVER* you might be able to resize to less than 250 kB and save it - and *THEN* rename that photo from .jpeg to .jpg and try uploading. More effort on your part but it will be appreciated by interested forum members.

In my opinion.

Also, please give your photos relevant names. Having 2000 pictures on this site all named image.jpeg is annoying. My browser is up to image(25).jpeg now.
