Hello everyone i just looked at a 1957 dodge today it was a really nice 2 door hardtop . The car had the floors replaced but it still had the brace bars in on both sides . The doors shut really nice but ince i loosed the tension on the brace the door became misaligned and wouldnt shut could the whole car have twisted while doing the floors

you might need to shim the body mounts to handle this, on youtube they have a video about aligning body panels.

that would do what the bars tension is doing.

those look like classic to current, not the best floor but the work is done, does it have the brackets underneath?
