Hi all

Working on getting the heat riser working in my '57 Plymouth 301 V8, I found the shaft turned with some resistance. Turned out it's seized to a bushing, which is then turning. I can find later V8 repair kits (although $$$) which look identical - do any of you know if they'll work?

If not I'll get the shaft turned and a new bush made if I have to.

(sorry, wrong forum! Can it be moved?)

Actually I found Bernbaum has NOS correct ones. I'd be interested anyway...
