Hello all,
My name is Nik. I live in Flagstaff, AZ. I just recently acquired my 1957 Plymouth Savoy four door sedan. I mainly own and build classic trucks, but wanted a four door family cruiser, that I could pack my wife and three kids into and go to car shows, etc. So, while this car isn't the more desireable two door coupe, it's exactly what I wanted. I fell in love with the fins the moment I saw the car.

This car is originally from Missoula, MT. I am the second registered owner. I have most of the documentation that came with the car from the original dealership, along with receipts for oil changes and new tires dating back to 1971. The car has a rebuilt 230 cubic inch flat head straight six, paired with a Powerflite two speed automatic. It has a Chrysler generator and starter and every single thing in the car works!

I aim to keep it as original as possible. Sa far I have patched some floor pans, installed all new carpet, replaced belts, hoses, plugs, wires and points. I am looking for an original air cleaner assembly, and wanting to get the engine compartment squared away and as close to original as possible. It was so choked with the cheapo 4" paper & chrome parts store universal air cleaner, even after stacking a second filter on top of the first, that I decided to temporarily adapt a 14" round air cleaner, using a gallon paint can lid. I also bought a few gas station Mexican blankets to cover the ratty upholstery until I can properly address it.

The only other thing that I have done is purchased and installed some old fender skirts.

Anyway, here it is:

No pictures came through. These might look better than rat rod interior.

Welcome to the forum! The photo posting takes a minute to figure out, but when you get that minute we'd love to see the sedan.
It sounds like a good one!

Welcome to forum. Nice 57 Belvedere! Not as much rust being from out west! I won't claim to be any expert but I am about 1 year away from completing my restoration of my 57 Belvedere 4 door Sedan so if you have any questions about I would be glad to help. The boards here have been a wealth of information for me.

Good luck.
