hello, was wondering what is the preferred way to post pictures. first, what is the best camera (iPhone vs. digital camera). ive played around for hours to post a pic of my IBM card and just cant set the resolution correctly using my iPhone 8. I read on a thread that this site works best with jpg file not jpeg file? also tried using Microsoft paint with no luck. also tried to scan with my printer. any advise would be greatly appreciated!!!

Yes, it must be less than 250Kb and have the .jpg extension. Mac users have the most trouble because the default extension is .jpeg that you cannot control very easily. But if you install a photo application that allows you to save with the .jpg extension, then you should be able to make it work.

I use Irfanview for resizing and 1024 x 768 is a good size. I just tested PAINT and resized a photo to 1024 x 768 and it looks fine and is well under 250 kB (something like 150 kB)

Good luck resizing and posting. We always like photos.
