I'm finishing up organizing my rewire job in my '56 Imperial, but I cannot remember what the piece pictured below is? It's been 14 years since I removed it, I know if goes under/behind the dash, I think near the steering column. I think it might hold the plug for the turn signal flasher, and maybe a couple other wiring connectors? I need to know where it mounts and what it holds. A picture of this part in your car would be priceless. Thank you.

base of steering column under the dash? Yes it holds a wire loom connector and blinker relay I believe.

Would that also be on a 56 Dodge? My signal blinker can hangs down annoyingly. But I've never looked for or seen a bracket like that to set the can into.

It is possible that I am blind.

Any chance you can send me a picture of how/where it mounts?
