I don't get on here as often as I should but I hope this site never leaves or a BUNCH of info will be lost. Thanks to those who are still with us and those that have gone home. Life has gotten really short for some of us and then there are the others. Thanks to those that brought this site together because this is where I realized that I needed to buy my 1st "Forward Look" a 1960 Plymouth 4dr Sedan. It had 17k miles with a /6 and 3 onda tree with a radio and cigarette lighter.

A thread on a forum can be visited and added to over the years, Facebook is built for the current short attention span brain.

Have you ever tried to get technical help on Facebook? Useless.

I closed my Facebook account several weeks back. I hope forums like these can survive. Kudos Dave!

I do like to use Facebook for posting pictures. The forum excels with technical help.

Facebook has not taken me over, I still love the FL site best. Dorsey, same same though, in regards to 60 Furys and the Forward Look love affair. I did not buy a Fury (nearly did), but this site got me looking at FL cars and 60 Imperials 13 years ago, now I own one, since 2009. What a car!
I live in the Antipodes of Detroit (in Australia, City of Darwin, Northern Territory). So about as far away as you can get from where they originated, yet Virgil and Chrysler's cars grabbed my attention big time.
I dunno why, Form and Function I am thinking. This site and its contributors are responsible for that.

Nearly all the contributions in the discussion forums I see now and in the past on this site are worth a read. I dont have much to offer, but I chip in where I can.

Thanks Dave.

Steve.

Can't be all that bad....
This popped up on my wife's FB page last week not more than 25 miles from us, $8000

So now, I scan the adds on there from time to time just for the heck of it.
I'm out of storage room of I would be on the road right now to pick it up!!

I‘m a very frequent user of FB as well. A „friend“ of mine invited me to several pages like 57/58 Dodge or a “This was AmeriCar“ /w very ancient pictures.

As far as I know he‘s not memberof this (our) forum. When I have a question regarding restoration in unbelievable astronomic expensive Switzerland I‘m contacting him via FB.

Happy Restoring!

Please don't frame this as an 'either/or' situation. Be thankful that we have both resources to help find or further our FL projects or future projects.
