Expert Posts: 1348 Location: Valley Forge, Pa. | I bought this pump years ago shortly after buying my suburban and had it professionally rebuilt as a spare. I bought it as a pump for a 1960 Plymouth/318. It's not the same style as on my car. Don't even know if it would fit? I believe I found this pump listed to fit a 1961 Chrysler but couldn't find it for any other years or makes. I'm sure I could spend a lot of time identifying exactly what it is and what it fits but I am also sure someone here will instantly recognize it and can tell me the manufacturer, makes, and years it will fit so I can correctly list it for sale. Thanks as always, Karl..

Expert Posts: 3777 Location: NorCal | The size of the return line hose nipple gives a clue, the 5/8" nipple is early, they changed to a 3/8" hose around '67. Edited by 57chizler 2018-11-23 3:27 PM

Expert Posts: 1348 Location: Valley Forge, Pa. | The return is 5/8", so with that, it should be a Federal pump for 1958-66 MOPARs and possibly for a big block? I'll have to look at my mounting brackets and see if it is worth keeping as a spare or selling it and find a rebuild able one like the one on my car for a spare. Thanks again, Karl.

They changed the pumps from the 60 to 61 model year. For some reason they got a larger shaft, but both interchange.

Veteran Posts: 292 Location: Colorful Colorado skier on the license plate | I believe it is a mid to late 1960's Big block Federal general performance pump and bracket. I prefer these to the earlier wobbly bracket system.
