Location: Sydney | Hi all Just wondering if generic Ford twist type breather and PCV fit the Mopar covers
I cant seem to source breathers and PCV here in Australia to fit the Mopar twist bayonet fitting and have bee told they are the same fit as Ford twist type. Can anyone confirm this please? Are there any other alternatives to setup a breather and PCV? TIA |

| theres 100's of breathers, pcv, vacuum pumps... catch cans...
i think most breathers are by size.
Mine is in the valley cover since its a hemi. The hemi originally used the downdraft tube with the fill pipe with a breather cap there.
Im moving to an pcv valve and breather valve on the valley pan. Since its a new rebuild I assume its big enough to move the air out. |

Sorry, I wasnt clear
Im just after confirmation of what other twist type caps are compatible with the above Mopar valve covers?
Mopar stuff is scarce here and Im looking for caps to go on these covers without importing.
Some have suggested that any twist on type cap, such as Ford ones, will fit.
Does anyone know if this is the case as Ive contacted a heap of shops here and none can confirm what fits a Mopar valve cover as in the pic.

| youll pretty much need the diameter and use that... i would highly doubt any one has a compatiblity part chart for valve covers youll need the twist on type... i would expect "most" to fit as they are one size "kind" of fits all. https://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SearchResultsPageCmd?Ntt=valve+cover+breathers+twist&requestYear=&storeId=10001&catalogId=10002&langId=-1&year=&make=&model=&submodel=&engine=&Nrpp=&No=&persistYmm=false
