I believe that's PolaraPaul's car? I could be wrong, but the storage building looks similar. Can't seem to find the other thread at the moment though...

Yep, ended up buying it for $29K, more than I wanted to spend on it but what the heck, My Plymouth Convert needed an stable mate. I will drive out from Colorado to La Crosse, WI with my car trailer and pick it up Labor day weekend. What is the history of this car when PolarPaul owned it? I liked the original Coral color and will restore it back to that paint scheme of Coral and White. I am already lining up the soda blasting to get it down to bare metal once I get it out to Colorado and than give it an epoxy primer coating to protect it from any flash rusting till I work on the floors and line up the painting and other repair work.

John Q.

Good work!
29K is a lot, but where you gonna find another one as good as this cheaper? I look forward to seeing your pics of the car. Steve.

I've seen this car in person, I think it's a great car. ON top of that, Paul is fantastic to deal with. He's a wealth of knowledge. Always better to pay for a better starting point, than to save 10-20% and have 50% more into it when done. I think you got a good deal on the car. If I wasn't 7 restorations deep, I would have been all over it.

Well i picked the car up yesterday from Paul and Milt and drove thru the night with my tRam ruck and trailer to get it back to Colorado, arriving home at 3:30AM after a 2 hour stop to see Dave (Finrusky) in Iowa for some 57 Chrysler Parts. Paul and Milt were most gracious in showing my friend Gary and I, some of their cars. Super transaction between them and I on th 57 CRL convertible.

Dave in Iowa was also very accommodating to us, as he showed us his 3 Chrysler 300's he has, that Gary and I might buy one off the unrestored ones each. I like the 300C and Gary likes the 300D.

We have a great club with nice members to deal with and help each other with needed parts and cars!

Hooray for us!

John

yes, it is living the dream to own now two FL Converts.. I will have the Dodge CRL media blasted next week to get down to bare metal thru the many paint jobs the car has had and will return the CRL back to its original splendor. I will be documenting the progress for all to follow along. Having restored one Convertible already will greatly help me. Having the interior aspect of the car already done is wonderful!

Next strep after Media blasting is to wake up the 325 Poly head motor and get it purring again. Having the car move under its own power is and will be a plus.

John
