Hi guys , does anyone happen to a 2 groove Crank pulley from a 57 58 Chrysler 392 hemi . Must Be 6 5/8 wide and 2 grooves .

Also a M2503s or M2610s Carter genuine fuel pump . I only need a rebuilder as I have new kits . Thanks in advance . Cheers

There should be a lip on the outside of it about 1.5" above the base of it too. That's what the correct pulley looks like.

that's my 392!. My years spending money in my Hemi paid off more than a decade after I starting collecting parts. I found a NOS pulley pictured here, NOS harmonic balancer and NOS set of connecting rods that they were listed from more than 12 years on Gary Goers catalog and nobody purchased... Gary actually had 16 NOS in the box connecting rods...

Parts book also lists the 57-58 354 Poly and the '57 DeSoto as using the same crank pully as the 392.

Thanks Brad , Mike and Nathan , I remember the lip from the last hemi we had , but the only one listed as 5 5/8 in the parts book was 56 Plymouth ????

The one on my car now does have the lip , but it is 5- 5/8 inches , where as the one I need according to the parts book is 6 -5/8 for 392 Hemi with non A/C . Th epulley looks the same as the on in your Picture Nathan .

Can either of you guys confirm that your is 5 5/8 or 6 5/8 , as mine may be the correct one .

The reason I don't trust it is that it had aftermarket air con at one stage and I think they may have just got any old pulley . Look forward to seeing what you guys come up with

Mike if I don't have any luck I will see what you have . cheers

I have 2 perfectly stock cars with stock motors and 1 separate perfectly stock motor. Two of them have power steering without A/C and one has manual steering without A/C, but both pulleys are the same as the others. Every crank pulley is 5 5/8" diameter and 3" depth. So it sounds like you have the correct one on there already. In fact, a 6 5/8" pulley would come dangerously close to the water pump pulley so I'm not sure that would even work.

Ok thanks Heaps Nathan , I think the parts book is wrong then , So pulley number 1732941 is meant to be 5 5/8 , everyone change your parts books .

The reason I even questioned the pulley is that one bolt is missing and one bolt hole doesn't line up , I am now thinking maybe one bolt hole is closer together than the others and it just needs unbolting and turning to the right position , would that sound right ?
when they've removed the air con someone may not have known this .

I checked another parts book from a google search (jholst) and it says pulley 1732941 is 6 1/2 inches , so mopar definitely got it wrong in both books .

A bolt hole not lining up could be that it isn't turned properly, or it could be that you have a later harmonic dampener on there. The later LA (and maybe 318 poly too?) dampeners have the bolts evenly spaced so the old pulleys won't bolt onto them without widening one of the holes out.

No, there is one bolt off on the hemi motors. The later small block motors have evenly spaced bolts. The small block harmonic dampeners are interchangeable with the hemi other than for this bolt spacing, so sometimes people will swap them onto there.
