So thanks especially to some members here at FLN, I got the '56 back together in time for the All-Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle!

Here's a few pics of the wheels and the new headliner I got installed. Also while at the show, I'm pretty sure I found the ONLY replacement horn ring for sale, and it was NOS - gorgeous condition. Cost me a pretty penny but I didn't hesitate for a second to buy it.

Enjoy!

Hehe, I suspect that this comment was especially difficult to make. But I appreciate the honesty. I really like them - they're very unique, in that there are specific, left-and-right wheels. I really, really like them though, and I got a ton of compliments over the weekend on them.

And black?!?! First of all, one doesn't buy $3,000 rims and then paint them black... But no - I have no intention of going that route on this car. She won't be stock by a long-shot, but she will be respectfully and tastefully modified.

Thank YOU sir - especially for all the assistance you've given me over the past several months. You're a life-saver - my Coronet and I owe you one.

Dunno if you saw on my original headliner thread, but I have more pictures there as well as other kind words issued in your direction! :D
