Mid to late 1990s Dodge truck dash, which were notorious for crumbling into hundreds of pieces. The interior of this car is awful, but at least the price has come down about $10,000 since the last time I looked. Unfortunately for the seller, I think it will still have to come down much more as the modifications to this car are going to be a big turn off for most of the Forward Look faithful.

it has to sit high so you can turn the wheels He would have been better off jacking up the front and call it a "gasser" of some sort. that poor car.

part it out, use the quarters, roof fenders and doors to save another one... 34,000$... dude is smoking meth...

and replace that garbage carpet in your 34k "destructo mod"...

I don't know why people put this much effort and money into a car that they cant do it right. I mean cmon.

like that sedan "pro tour" Christine with the painted on trim... no no no no no no...

Not to my taste. The air cleaner looks like it was sourced from a 1950s Caddy.Certainly isn't the one that came with a real 1957 Dodge nor the one that came with a 2000 Dodge Dakota truck. He might sell it, but I don't think he'll get $34K.

That would be an interesting car to drive.

if the airbag on the passenger side ever deployed, those emblems might be deadly.

I admire all the work and problem-solving that must have gone into it.

Only thing I would replace is those gawdawful wheels. Don't care much for the shark's teeth on the bumper.

Good point Mike. A very good reason why he should sell me his glove box lancer emblem.

More than likely the airbag is deactivated, needs sensors/controllers that aren't practical with an iron front end.

How come the hillbillies that drop car bodies on truck chassis can never put the wheels in their correct posisin in the wheelopenins?

It is hard to find that perfect profile. your typically limited to the manufacturer... You don't want to put a s10 under a dodge. Then you start hunting. The real pros cut it as needed. It's not hard to cut that front horn and reweld it. You typicallywont find the perfect layout from the factory... They didn't put the time into cutting the front.

I am curious about one thing though. The drive train is obviusly modern and was probably scourced from the same 2000 Dodge Dakota truck. What controls the automatic transmission - the column shift on the right or the push buttons on the left? I'm guessing the former as it would be too hard to make a pushbutton transmission mate up with a modern engine block. And I agree; he needs to put better looking wheels on it.
