car looks like is been put through a meat grinder, I don't think on panel is unbashed.

It looks like 2 door ht doors used in the rear.

Hillbilly storage unit now. Looks like it was a 2 door sedan that was stretched to me.

If all was right with the car, it would make a pretty handsome limousine!

In that first image, the trunk looks impossibly long!

Very interesting car. The way it was stretched reminds me of the Plymouth-bodied Coronados (sold variously as Desotos, Dodges, and Chryslers). Though this one is definitely all-Dodge, and the rear quarter window is not full sized as on the Coronados.

We had a company here in the Netherlands that stretched cars like that too.
I have owned a '64 Chrysler Newport which was 'limofied' similarly. It was stretched 60cm, about 2 ft.
I've also seen a mid '60s Chevy Impala in my town years back which had received the same threatment overhere.

Was this a Desoto Diplomat? I noticed the paint on the driver's side door looks a lot like the Diplomat paint for that year, though it seems like it might be too low on the body.

Ah, ok. The reason I said 2 door sedan is the roof line in the rear looks just like my 1960 Plymouth 2 door sedan, but not the long sloping roof of a coupe. Now that I look again, the front doors do seem short like a 4 door.
