1957 DESOTO Adventurer Convertible: Powered by a 345/345hp HEMI OHV V8 engine matched to a 3-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission, this Adventurer is equipped with torsion bar independent front suspension, live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs and 4-wheel power drum brakes. This example is finished in black with a gold sweep, a black top and the correct-type complementary Adventurer interior. Options found on this top-of-the-line Adventurer include an AM radio with dual antennas, a dash clock, a gray padded dash, power windows, a power front seat, power brakes and a gold boot. At the time of the restoration, the engine, transmission, brakes and front end were fully rebuilt. The engine bay presents very nicely with correct components and an excellent finish on such items as the inner fender wells, the air cleaners and the radiator tank. Pictures somewhat resized and some spots removed. I am just missing the upper tinted stripe on the windshield (?). - SERGE -
