Location: Lower Mainland BC | In my seemingly never ending search for the best air cleaner for my 56 D500, I am now looking for a single snorkel, paper air filter, 4 bbl , 4 7/32" throat diameter, air cleaner, similar to the one below. It would allow me to run a cold air intake duct from the rad support bulkhead to the engine.
Or maybe this 58 Mayfair type air cleaner:

Location: Lower Mainland BC | Thanks guys. I had a few responses via PM here (and one phone call) but they weren't going to work (too wide). I ended up buying one off eBay that is supposed to be a Golden Lion 383/413. It's not pretty but that is okay. I might have to beat the bottom with a ball peen hammer to get various clearances and I will be painting it D500 hemi red anyway. It's supposed to be 15" diameter - which should work.

Location: Lower Mainland BC | Somebody please shoot me. I recently bought that green 59 Chrysler Golden Lion single snorkel air cleaner. However, now that I have it find out the snorkel is only about 2.5" in diameter, I realize the I want a larger snorkel. Working away on that and just now I see a Craiglist advert for a 57 Plymouth wagon and I start lusting after its air cleaner because of larger rectangular snorkel. I don't even know if it is a 4 7/32" 4 bbl air cleaner at this point, I just like the snorkel and might have to start the search again. (Shoot me).

Location: Seville, OH | Cut the snorkel out of your green one and add whatever size you want. Would twice as cool with two snorkels! |

That would be Plan C. I am going by a "Metal SuperMarket" today to investigate alternative snorkels for the Green one. Need so be bigger than it is to accomplish what I want. Two snorkels doesn't work.
Mark 5 Scoop idea:
