Expert 5K+ Posts: 7385 Location: northern germany | the rocker mouldings are tricky, have you nothing left? almost all other mouldings can be bolted on, since the backside can be reached. do not use the factory snap on mouldings, they make the car rust. use rubber grommets and fabricate some stainless moulding fasteners, easily done with some stainless sheet metal and 4 or 5mm stainless carriage bolts. the lower windshield moulding fasteners are always in good condition and can be reused. if the fasteners for the coupe rear windows are rusted off, just glue the mouldings to the rubber. the sections that are covered by overlapping mouldings can be screwed on into the rubber with small wood screws.

I agree with the snap on mouldings there was surface rust around some of the holes there all been cleaned up I used a plastic hollow plug inserted in the hole to stop the clip from scratching the paint off I think the clips are the wrong size as there loose in the strips there 22mm I think they need to be at least 24mm

Extreme Veteran Posts: 306 Location: Newcastle Australia | The only one I know of in Newcastle is Charlie's black Dodge. He lives in Edgeworth, but he's owned it longer than 27 years. Pretty amazing that another one has come out of the woodwork. (Charlies-Dodge.jpg) Attachments ---------------- Charlies-Dodge.jpg (222KB - 83 downloads)

Expert 5K+ Posts: 8443 Location: Perth Australia | No idea what holds the rocker moldings on On mine, all that was left is 1/8" holes with what I think were some kind of a rivet, but it had been ground down to be basically flush with the panel There is no "left over" bits of clip to be found I think it must have had a snap clip riveted to the rocker and you had to assemble most of the stainless off the car then basically bang it on. Nothing really about the clips and such in the workshop of parts manual that I have found
