Expert Posts: 1287 | All You DeSoto Guys Out There -- There's a wild '55 DeSoto FireFlite for sale in Pennsylvania though it's not quite stock, though, being a bit modified: 3" CHOP AND AIR RIDE SUSPENSION 528 INDY HEMI 650 HP KEYSLER 4L60E ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION 9" FORD POSI REAR END WITH 355 GEARS DODGE DAKOTA FRONT SUSPENSION AIR RIDE SUSPENSION 2 1/2" STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST ROCK VALLEY STAINLESS STEEL FUEL TANK TILT AND TELLI STEERING COLUMN But it does have that great '57 Adventurer black and gold paint. Though my preference is for the unmodified (i.e., "stock") muscle cars that I had experience with in my salad days, I'd love to have this boulevard cruiser. It's only 125 grand. At least the builder didn't slam the car way down to the ground like a lot of young car builders seem to like to do these days. Gas Monkey Garage, West Coast Customs, Chip Foose, et al. Give the car a near normal stock ride height and I'm happy.

Expert 5K+ Posts: 5006 | its got air ride which means its slammed. its a nice car. Okay now to nitpick! because this is the internet... its got a drag car motor in it, not the best for boulevard cruising... but hey everyone has got to have 650 hp to cruise that cam in that thing would need the springs replaced every year. a lot of work in that thing, but man I would hope I get disc brakes in the back for 125k... and the interior isn't 125k level, tolerable. He probably should have taken it to barrett jackson and got 100k for it maybe. Edited by mikes2nd 2018-01-26 10:38 AM

Expert Posts: 3396 Location: Chestertown, NY ( near Lake George) | This looks like a car that was built on one of the Velocity rod building shops, maybe Kindig. Edited by Shep 2018-01-26 12:03 PM
