Anyone have any nice 57 Dodge tail lights? Ones that don't have deep pits. This is for a wagon so I also need the "spacer" chrome bezels that sit behind the tail lights, for lack of a better term. I have some but they are badly pitted

If you can name the parts you need by the 8-55-?? number from below, I will try to find the PN and then do a search for NOS parts.

If the lenses for the wagon are the same as for the non-wagons, then you can buy new aftermarket ones here: http://www.autopartsobsolete.com/1957-dodge-stop-backup-lenses-set-...

Checked the master parts catalog
The part numbers for the lenses are the same for all models
Note that the extension / housing that mounts lens to body are NOT the same

Below are the part numbers:

Lens, Tail Lamp 1689870
Lens, Backup Lamp 1689871

I think FINS! needs the metal bits, but which ones, it is not clear.

I was thinking that he/she would respond to my diagram posting and someone (me, you, whoever) could figure out the PNs needed.

Like 8-55-331 = extensions (spacers??) = 1770 922 same for 57 and 58 Dodges (four needed).

Which Collectors Auto says their partnership (of several dealers) has (some) http://www.collectorsautosupply.com/search.asp

1770922 NOS $ Call us to check stock and price! extension tail & B/up lite housing

Len Dawson Deception Pass Mopar parts says he doesn't have any so I could be the guy local to me.

I found 2 bezels on E-bay, I could use 2 more. Cannot figure out the part catagory # from the parts book diagram. it's just the bezel the tail light lens screws into. I could use the extensions, which are wagon only 8-55-331. They are part number 1770922 same 57-58. Thanks for verifying that on the lenses, I thought they were the same. The bezels look to be the same all models and with just the extensions being wagon only. Doesn't have to be NOS, but what I have is heavily pitted and not good cores for rechrome. Oh and I'm a he

Figured you were probably "he" but there are ladies her and I didn't want to presume. So with that cleared up....

Is the bezel like this?

If so there are more on eBay:

Yeah that's the bezel, bought both of those. Thanks for finding those extension pieces, I had not seen those, pricey but I'll get at least 1. I almost put "I'm a she" and posted of photo of a Russian supermodel, would that have gotten me more help with parts?
