Hi all, I have been having a problem finding parts for my 1959 Australian Chrysler AP2 Plainsman, the main issue at the moment is the power steering ram cylinder, it is leaking from the ram and the pitman arm bolt, does anybody know if there are any parts for this ram?

I don't know about parts availability, but if you find there are no alternatives I would suggest finding a good hydraulic repair shop, one that has the capability to repair and if necessary fabricate hydraulic cylinders.

About 10 years ago I needed a main boom cylinder repaired for an old Case 530 - nothing was available so the shop I took it to simply made a new one.

Your unit would require a bit more specialized fabrication, but it certainly should be within the scope of a good shop.

Speak to Jim Robinson. Dodge spares is his business name i think. Ray Bell may be able to shed some light.

I've tried Jim Robinson at Dodge Parts, he could not help, he has a bit of stuff for earlier models and later models, mainly dodge stuff, the Chrysler royals were a bit different.

the one on gumtree has a flathead 6 with manual trans and I don't think they came with power steering, I have contacted the seller.
