I have my disk conversion from AAJ Brakes. The only problem is my left rear hub is bad and needs to be replaced. Can anyone help? Thanks

Congrats on the AAJ Disk brake conversion. Please document the change with photos and post them up on the forum for the rest of us to see.

As for the "hub", one of us (you or I) is confused. As I understand it, there is no "hub" per se on these cars, just the tapered axle, as shown in the diagram below. That being the case, the axles were common to 55-56 Plymouths, Dodges, Desotos and Chryslers (not the 300).

I got axles from Don Petty in Arizona - try him: http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=63800&...

The rear end is going to the scraper Monday if you don't need the hub

I'll take the leaf spring mounts if you are willing and able to cut them off.

I was thinking of keeping the mounts. Let me think about it. Would you need a verry nice 3.54 pumkin? The Powerflight is already for the trip. Anything you want off it?

I don't need one, but someone on here was looking for a set of gears not long ago. It's probably good to save the E-brake on the back of the powerfite. Most of those parts will interchange with the torqueflite stuff.

Call Larry or Ron at 2085366606. They have the parts you need.
