A friend asked me about the colors on Toilet Seat Continental Kit (i.e., Sport Deck) of the '60 Plymmers. Since neither my current Big-Tailed Beast nor the one I had way back when has or had one, I really don't know for sure. Does anyone here have a pic of what it should look like?

Location: northern germany | Joe, they seem to be mostly white, probably only because this was a popular color for the roof. in this clip you can see a magnificent 60 fury hardtop with a black roof and black "toilet seat" and i asked if the toilet seat was color keyed to the roof. i might have the answer, as i have the 1960 plymouth upholstery/paint booklet. if i find out i will let you know.

Location: Småland Sweden | My -60 Fury has it painted same as the body color, caramel metallic. Roof and fender inserts are desert beige. All -60 Furys i´ve seen here in Sweden has it that way. Checked my data book but couldn´t find any info there. My guess is that you could have it painted any color you wanted. In my opinion it looks best painted same as the body color. |

Thanks for the info.
My take on it is that the center has a gold emblem surrounded by a black rectangle in a chrome or stainless "hubcap" with the "wheel" being painted either the body color or a contrasting one.
Thanks again.

Location: northern germany | interestingly the "sport deck" isn't shown in the 60 plymouth brochure and upholstery/paint booklet at all. there is one picture in the accessory brochure in b/w and it appears to be body color. if you google you mostly see it painted body color but not rarely painted the roof color. |
