New User Posts: 4 | I was going through some old boxes of books today and came across the first official Forwardlook.net calendar from 1999. The 58 Plymouth I owned at the time was the July car. Here's a close up of the blurb. It's part of an email exchange between Dave and myself. The rest, as they say, is history.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 494 Location: Alberta | What a great idea don't you think?.We could probably start that again if the forward look members are in favour. A calendar is a lot easier to generate today than it was 20 yrs ago We use this basic idea in our family for birthdays. Everyone sends a photo or two to our daughter and she has them made up at Costco relatively inexpensive. This calendar you have was before my time on the forum we could go with 20 year Anniversary Addition if 2019 coincides with the actual date of the forward look calendars conception,Tell us more about it I know I never knew it existed and I'm interested. Extreme Veteran Posts: 494 Location: Alberta | The more I think about this calendar idea more I like it. If the members are Ok with this email me include a photo. I think a 13 mos. calendar format will give us 15 featured FL cars including the covers front and back and possibly a member with a photo of a major event [Birthday etc] included in the monthly date block dates. It will take all 2018 to produce one for 2019 let me know by pm, email or a post on this thread Edited by RUSTORICHES 2017-12-14 9:19 AM

Elite Veteran Posts: 1047 Location: Auckland, New Zealand. | These calendars used to be produced every year for a few years. I used to gather orders from friends and get 5 or 6 flown down to me in New Zealand. I've still got them all. I miss them, they were great. I expect the quality of print has improved substantially since then, and the price will have dropped too. Great idea to be resurrected, count me in. Glenn.
