As far as I have seen they seem to be usually printed on glossy vinyl sticker material and many reproductions seem to have a bit messy print quality as they are made from scans or photocopies. And some sharper ones seem to have too modern fonts used instead of original 50's typefaces.
What material the original decals have been printed on?
I bet glossy vinyl has not been an option back in the 50s?
I wonder if they have been water transfer prints or printed paper decals? |
